Arab Weather - The United Arab Emirates recorded its highest temperature ever recorded for the month of May, reaching 51.6 degrees Celsius this afternoon, according to official data issued by the National Center of Meteorology.

This record temperature was recorded in one of the country's inland regions, which is characterized by extremely hot weather during May and the coming months, making it the highest temperature ever recorded in the UAE for the month of May since the country's climate records began.

This unprecedented rise in temperatures is attributed to the expansion of an extremely hot air mass from the Empty Quarter toward the southeast of the Arabian Peninsula, coinciding with the dominance of a high pressure system in the upper atmosphere, which exacerbated the heat dome phenomenon over the UAE.

It is worth noting that temperatures rising to this level may increase the risk of heat stress and sunstroke, especially in open areas. Therefore, the following is recommended:
